The absolute BALLS of casting Jack Nicholson as Peter Lorre's idiot son is what I remember most about it - who knew they'd make such a great double act?

And I loved your piece on him - I was desperately trying to find a place to put the "burning roof" story. Once you've seen it, you can't unsee it.
